Hull looking really up for this game, Southampton not looking particularly interested... don't like the look of it....so far.

Would have been good if Tadic had scored that penalty, but PL survival is now back in our hands. A win at OT tomorrow and we're out of the bottom 3 and Hull will be under pressure.

We've just got to play like we did at Liverpool !

C'mon Bony shoot !!!!

When things like that happen you've got to think it's Hull's year really.

Saying that, similar happened to us last week.

Massive gutter. In two weeks they have won with 10 men and scored a last minute penalty. The most frustrating thing about this is they are shit.

Really disappointed in Southampton today, thought they were more negative than disinterested. Was really expecting them to win comfortably.

Goal difference could still come in to play. If we do lose tomorrow it mustn't be by more than 1.

We have to win tomorrow. Nothing else is good enough.

A draw is good enough. This weekend is about maintaining the 2 point gap.

Our realistic goal is to make it to the last game of the season a games worth of points behind. They have Spurs and we have WBA.

Sunderland lost so they won't give a shit against Hull or us, but we still won't beat them.

Just the crappest of crap seasons really. There is so much wrong with the club it's quite hard to give a f*ck just now. Shot ourselves in both feet, both knees and the balls. That's a tough recovery. Let all the poisons hatch out.

They only drew 0-0, I watched that and Hull could have quite easily got 3 points. The fact they got one isn't the best result, but still a positive for us. The way half the people on this forum hark on is boring. Your pessimism or what you'll all describe as "realism" is boring now.

Nah keeping ourselves within 2 points was something we would have taken out of this weekend before. Not sure why that would have changed.

If we go down an easy return will be difficult for sure, we only sneaked up last time due to huge momentum, the appointment of Rodgers and 2 very astute signings in Scott Sinclair and Borini .

To repeat that will be hard purely because the sellouts have returned the playing staff to a standard less capable than the one that went up, some feat indeed considering how easy it was NOT to fook it all up !

I pray we stay up but realistically it's just a matter of time anyway with these yanks in control, lets remember that not a single dollar has been put in to "take us to the next level" and nor will there be.

Our only hope( help me obi wan you're my only hope) is a fresh take over, i've heard a whisper that the chinese consortium is still interested(not sure how true this is) a fresh approach and complete clear out is the only way forward IMO.

For SCFC to return in the current set up after a relegation will be very hard, the interest, knowledge, playing staff, momentum and ambition is not what it used to be.
Either a complete clear out of the sellouts and a new consortium or its a slow painfull fall down the leagues .
Still, i keep hoping for a miracle though.

It may be boring but it is still realistic.

We are 1/2 with the bookies to be relegated after today.

There are still 2 slight positives.

They didn't win
They aren't up to much. I've no idea how they have strung a few results together.

Realistically, they are going to beat Sunderland though.

I agree that they aren't up to much but still think they are better than we are at the moment. Fingers crossed that we step up a notch tomorrow.

Saints were gash. Slam the penalty down the middle. Generally a goal. Gutted!

And add to that a disconnect between the club and supporter base of Petty era/uber-loyal type(s) that will become even wider if relegated.

The Yanks paid tens of millions for their investment and if they walk away they will make sure to leech as much money as possible from the parachute payments in the meantime.

I see next to zero hope of a quick return! The club no longer has a board with SCFC and its supporters best interest at heart.

Argus!

I'm desperately trying to get myself in the frame of mind I was in after Exeter home. I'm pretty much there. If we come out tomorrow against the weakest Man U team of the season and do the roll-over-lose-two-nil supine tango, I think I'm going round Clement's house with a strongly worded letter.

Agree, it's why i hope for another take over if relegated, now we've done the thing we always thought we'd never do,ie, sell out to dodgy investors with Yanks having probably the worst track record, we need to hope for somebody coming in with money to invest not just speculate like the chancers huw and co. sold out to.

It's a real nightmare situation for us to be in, thanks huw and co. may you never walk the streets of swansea safely ever again .

If we are relegated (which is highly likely) there's only one way we're going......and that's down down down.

With a stringent cost cutting and and a sell anything and anyone policy, those that think we'll bounce back up, must be absolutely f*cking crazy.

Don't know about doom merchants mate, but you have to admit the past couple of years have been an unmitigated disaster, Not really many positives to recall
