Another thing that vivadonaldo mentioned - was not the fact that the pitch might be playable but what damage could be done playing on it? After the Hornets game Sunday it was full of divots? Hill has been critical of matches going ahead in the past on a soaked pitch (the famous pitch rant) - after the money the club has spent on it they won't want it ruined so soon.
