Hi guys,
A few months ago I posted this thread back here

Turns out I've been offered a place at the University of Sheffield for the upcoming Fall Semester, so I'll be coming over in a few months! Cannot wait to get over there and get started 
A large majority of reviews I've read have been very positive, as reflected by the Uni winning many awards, but I am just wondering if anybody on this site has been to Sheffield Uni and could possibly tell me a bit about their experiences there, things to do, and what it's like?

In Australia we call it Semester 1 but over there it's the Fall Semester

My daughter is currently in her 2nd year at Sheffield.
She loves Sheffield and doesn't want to come home after her degree, she is also on track for a First in her degree. All in all, a very positive recommendation from her father. | | | |

Glad to hear. I've only heard positive things about the University from Australian students who've attended it on exchange
Having been voted as having the best student union in the UK for 8 consecutive years also suggests a great student culture, one of the things that swayed me to apply for Sheffield over other English Unis
