Congratulations on 01:28 - May 31 with 3908 views | Daley_Lama | After Accy were cruely denied it is heart-warming that a TPLC has been promoted to L1, replicating the achievements of R&D, Yeovil, Maccesfield and bury over the last few decades. As with all of these TPLC's they will enjoy their time in the sun before regressing/going bust. Good for them.

I am obviously being dense, but what is a TPLC? [Post edited 15 Jun 2016 17:00]

Hope they don't see that as they get bigger crowds than us! For those who watched the final what was the standard like? I think some of you went to the semi-final and said it was rather poor (but I may be misremembering). [Post edited 31 May 2016 12:20]

Congratulations on 12:20 - May 31 by Daley_Lama | So do Sheff Utd but they finished beneath us last season. |
But you wouldn't call Sheff Utd tinpot (unless you're called Whitey!) Well done Wimbledon

It is an endearing name for ickle clubs from an era when League 2 was known as the Rochdale division. If any reading wombles are deeply offended i apologise, you have my heart-felt congratulations on rising to League one, the equals of MK Dons. Not bad for a PLTA.

Just on the subject of crowds, it was interesting (well I thought it was) that whilst 51000 saw the L1 playoff final betwen a London club and Barnsley, 58000 saw the L2 final between a London club and Plymouth. I wonder if a lot of neutrals from the London area went to support AFC Wimbledon? [Post edited 31 May 2016 13:22]

Good point, and of course its difficult to think that many neutrals from London would go to support Millwall.
