And wasn't that his his 200th career goal? A landmark that should have been better celebrated if so.
Yesterday was his 184th career goal at senior level and his 44th for Dale (Soccerbase have one of his Dale goals missing, but I haven't yet traced back to find out which one).
And as a reminder, here is the last Dale goal he scored at Spotland before yesterday:

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Great post TVOS - I would never have guessed this was the last time Holty scored for us at Spotland before yesterday
This was of the most enjoyable games I have seen at Spotland over the last thirty years
I can recall Ricky Lambert's winning goal as though it was yesterday (well he was only a few yards away from us in the Sandy)
From memory it was at the Pearl Street end and Holty did NOT celebrate to any great degree but I stand to be corrected
I cannot recall any ex-Dale player who has scored against us at Spotland (and there have been quite a number!) celebrating their goal like they normally would have done
