Never seen him live. Came to my attention on the Robert Elms' show about five years ago when his EP with There's a Storm a Comin' came out.

Duet with Jarvis Cocker...

Seen him a few times Dai, a talented fella.. Good tunes, tight band...my only minus point would be that he tells stories/jokes for too long..he loves old school rock roll , so alright by me.. Enjoy.!!

Over the years, I’ve seen him at Koko, the Roundhouse and SB Empire, and he’s always been excellent. He does go in for a lot of patter between songs, but I think he’s a funny bloke, so that didn’t trouble me. Well worth going to see if you like his stuff (obviously!).

Never seen him live but he's a great songwriter.

An excellent musician and songwriter, probably one of the best around at present. Never seen him live, but I hope to when he comes here to Ireland. I've heard his live performances are much more upbeat compared to a lot of his studio material, much of which is quite relaxing and reflective. Top notch old school rocker with a twist.

There aint half been some clever bastards.
