Match thread on 16:57 - Dec 12 by rich_dale | A decent second half performance by the sounds of it. Two home games now against teams below us. Let's move on and not overreact. |
Yes, need two home wins.

Match thread on 16:59 - Dec 12 with 2922 views | boromat | Changes were a little odd but sounds like they worked. Could have got a point in the end after going down by 2 with 10 men. For all the comments about BBM every time he's played recently be it a competitive match or friendly he's played well. Sounds like Calvin had the best of the chances shame it was on his right foot. Definitely some positives to take from today.

Was being "ironic". Would have been very happy but shocked if he had scored. I have no idea if it was a decent chance, but we do miss having a goal scorer.

Match thread on 17:25 - Dec 12 with 2651 views | richfoad32 | Decent second half performance that, shame we were left shorthanded by a liability as we easily could've got summat from the game. Swindon looked nervy and the crowd were getting on their backs, just a pity our best chance fell to Calvin who ballooned one over from 10 yards. Can't fault the effort from all involved though, apart from one liability who let his teammates down. Hendo ran his socks off and thought Bennett had a good game today, unlucky lads.

Thanks for that. Good to know it was a spirited second half performance after being let down by O'Sullivan. That's what we want, fight, passion, which was lacking last week in the FA cup. Says it all that you said about the chance falling to Andrew. Usually you want a chance to fall to a striker, but not him, as he really is poor at shooting. [Post edited 12 Dec 2015 17:42]

A striker who's 'poor at shooting'. It feckin boggles the mind at times doesn't it? Didn't do any pre-season games and was told by a mate that Calvin was a new man and would take this season by storm. Don't worry though, I've cut all ties with the lad that told me that. I know he had a decent game v Port Vale but he's gash. Absolutely toilet the lad. With Alessandra now certain to depart in January in some capacity, we badly need some striking reinforcements in January. Y'know, actual strikers. Not signings like O'Sullivan when we've already got a number of players in that position and whilst we're at it, that cock can do one after today. Tried his best to get sent off in the Port Vale game but got his wish today. Bellend. I'm not even gonna comment on BBM coming on and Hooper not starting because just thinking about it is causing me actual physical pain. These next couple of home games are arguably as crucial as any in KH's reign. He badly needs to get it right. Sort your feckin head out Keith. Seriously. Lay off the crack pipe. Do we heck, 4 points from two games is a good return. It won't be easy though, two teams fighting for their lives.

I accept it won't be easy, no game is, but two home games against teams below, with potentially games away to come, to me we could do with two wins to give us a bit of a cushion. If we do end up with 4 points, then it would be decent, but wouldn't give us the cushion that the 6 would give us. We will see. Also with these teams being below us at the moment, it would be nice to pull away from them a bit. These are potential relegation rivals. UP THE DALE.

It would be worth giving him a go, as he is certainly very good at winning headers, though he has no ground spped, but neither have our current centre halfs really. Can he tackle? He would be good at hoofing the ball up field.

I agree, I don't think he is much use as a forward, and yes he might be a good CH, worth a go in a bounce game.

Yeah lets do that. | | | |
