I know I mentioned this initially when news broke of him not playing till Jan - but it does all add up - especially with the club not giving a reason why he's not playing. bury had a similar arrangement when they accepted Everton's bid for Matt Foulds - they accepted the money under the condition he didn't play. The whole Blackburn / Embargo lifted/ O'Sullivan loan adds up - especially with Jamie's performance pre season against them - I imagine he's been on their radar since. | |

Think the theory is O'Sullivan is the loan signing to cushion the blow of losing Allen to Blackburn as part of any deal. He would serve as a stop gap until we find a more permanent replacement [Post edited 8 Dec 2015 13:40]

Yes,I hear you say.....but I've not seen many posts clambering for the lad's return only an update on his "injury".....
He did set off the season well (2 MOM performances in August)but did fade away through October........perhaps he was carrying more than a deadleg injury?. Personally.I would love to see the lad stay at Dale as I'm sure he will go on to be a very good asset. | | | |

Hilly stated this morning on fishful site that Jamie has a bad dead leg which according to the specialist is of the worst kind. Jamie has attempted training but the calf is not freeing itself up. Reckoned that the lad is about two weeks away from returning to training. Also comments about Joe Rafferty being reinjured and Mendez-Laing has a groin injury which resulted in both being unfit for the Bury match. |  | | |
