It then tends to be followed by an attack or inflammatory statement. The text does both in every way possible

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 18:12 - May 23 by 442Dale | Platforms were given by so many and despite things like this being pointed out now and in the past, literally nothing changed in terms of a collective effort from supporters and their supporters trust to at least make Day accountable for his statements and actions. When people say things and organisations representing fans are seen to be ensuring that those saying them KNOW they will be monitored, then at least it makes them think twice. It was simple, it never happened because supporters/ForeverBury/those in the media both individually and collectively couldn’t think past their own individual view/position/ego. This is something those with power at Bury quickly recognised and made sure to capitalise on and, as mentioned, especially with the idiots at Radio Manchester. They all know. The absolute sh!tstorm that is currently going on around the new owner, while understandable, is something that was always going to be the end game because individuals and organisations allowed it to get this far. It’s true that not everyone can impact significant change in these situations, but to sit back and do nothing or to offer support when it’s obvious that the support has not been earnt is naive at best, stupid at worst. You can only play your own part as best you can and try and impress upon others that represent you that they should do the same, whether that be a supporters group or the local media like the idiots at Radio Manchester. But they all know. |
This. Fagan was thought of as being as dodgy and was run out of RAFC by die hard supporters who sussed him out. A current director has had some serious scrutiny and the jury is out on him depending on how he acts. We just don't dribble and accept B S this side of Heywood. Oh , I forgot, IN BOLD X

What a brilliant start to a Bank Holiday weekend. In the midst of the ramblings of a clearly disturbed mind is the key reason why I'd not expect bury to be around at the start of next season. "I had talks with the League and the PFA where I explained the problems we were encountering, initially it was felt the Club could take out a loan but subsequently the PFA’s Lawyers vetoed that due to the perilous nature of the Club, they then offered to pay the players direct until we sorted the Clubs problems, this is where we are. Ideal, far from it but the tragic consequence of the actions of others. We are applying to the Court to release our bank again and that with the league’s help and season ticket sales should allow us to initially pay the balance owed to the players then repay the PFA for their very kind help." So: (1) The PFA wouldn't and won't loan them money. (2) What Nicky Adams is saying about being owed 12 weeks wages is broadly true. (3) The PFA have though paid the players wages on behalf of bury (4) bury are therefore under a transfer embargo (5) Both (2) and (3) can't both be true. Nicky Adams is either unpaid or he has received his money so telling porkies for another reason. (6) SD2's plan is to get an account with funds in it unfrozen add next years season ticket money and repay the PFA. They are about to lose all of the players, youth players, management and coaches for nothing. They have no guarantee of getting any players in because of a PFA transfer embargo due to that loan. The money to pay players pre-season from season tickets will have been used. They will have to guarantee a ground safety certificate for the season and pay the police bills for games vs us, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Accrington, Rotherham and Bolton. They may not have a ground. I fully expect Nicky Adams to be sacked as well for gross misconduct by SD2. Whatever his feelings, you can't go on a national radio broadcast and do that. I certainly can't remember any player in the last 20 years for all the clubs that have had financial difficulty in that time having any player ever do that. There's no way out if you are a bury fan. The end is near and the chickens are nearly home to roost. And (for the bury lurkers watching), its going to be a good thing for you all and for football. Go out of the league and start again and learn your lesson. Wimbledon managed it. Luton managed it. So, why can't you? It's almost like Steven D Dale is one of us working behind enemy lines. I hope his severe illnesses do not prevent him from finishing the job. [Post edited 23 May 2019 21:17]

In a move that is probably more stupid than his statement. The players released a statement with the aim to get media pressure on him to drive him out, but he flipped out and released a statement that basically said he was going nowhere without the right deal. How the hell do they think he'll react to a bunch of folk protesting outside his family home. It's a real bad look for the fans too. Even if they're well behaved and do some of that candle nonsense from when they were booted out of the FA Cup, it can still be classed as intimidation of him and his family.

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 08:11 - May 23 by TTNYear | So now the club is teetering on the edge, they finally are taking to ‘arms’ with bedsheets and twitter pleas. Where was this six years ago when the first crook rolled (literally) in? Nah big Stewie was the saviour, signing championship players, or average players on championship wages, securing premiership training facilities, promising the world with ten bob and a whippet. Parking spot schemes, BL9 weekenders, monthly forums... one held in Tenerife, a three year championship plan Enjoy the ride was the cry, we can’t do anything about it... Well you are now. Shame they didn’t listen and question more then. Get that in bold |
You really don’t see any parallels do you? Car park schemes and BL9 Weekenders. Promises of trade deals that have not materialised. YOU ARE NO DIFFERENT. Day was the ultimate populist, he told them everything they wanted to hear and they lapped it up. Each bone he chucked they scurried after. Each lie he told them they adjusted their reality so that it became true. They got to the point where they ended up lying to themselves. Putting a positive spin on obviously serious issues such as the CCJs and the WUPs(that’s just him being savvy) (no deal - that’s always what I wanted. WTO is great). Each time though, they, despite the reality, said it will all ultimately be great. The critics were just spinners of negativity with an agenda (project fear). They so wanted it to be true. Blinded as they were by hubris. [Post edited 23 May 2019 22:49]
