According to the Birmingham Mail it is £ 900k.

Agreed, it's exactly what clubs at our level should be doing. Backed up with a policy to spend within their means, it can prove to be very successful. For the full details of any such deal and its relevance to benefitting a club, people would have to check the accounts. We all know that there is little of substance from what people are told.

The regulars on there stroke their chins and look unfavourably upon those buckets who read, and post on here in such a way that they are made welcome on here. Likewise any Daley who respectfully posts over there is generally treated like shit. There appears to be a barrier* which prevents many of them understanding that genuine football folk take a wider interest in the game than the confines of their own club. They can actually manage it for fans of other clubs, but not ours, humourously. *It's sommot to do with class.

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 07:27 - Feb 25 with 4230 views | PDIDDY | Was in the pub with a Daley, who is obsessed by all things Bury, he was gobbing off over this. The fact is that BFC had held payment to gmp over their poor policing of the mill wall game, trouble flared pre game inside the ground, not one officer was in the stadium , this was 2-45, stewards were left to tackle the fighting, in any business if a job isn't done satisfactory you don't get payed, whoever has made bury pay should've seen the pathetic policing firsthand . Gmp couldn't police a pi so up in a brewery.

So why didn't they say this in court if that was a "fact"? Also, it appears that there are instances where people get paid for doing a job in an unsatisfactory manner. [Post edited 25 Feb 2017 9:34]

I presume that those Bury scrotes who were charged, didn't have their supply of batteries charged at the same time. Same old Bury. Dodging debts.

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 09:33 - Feb 25 with 5678 views | Daley_Lama | The cost of a policeman is far more than the cost of a steward. It is normally a collaberative agreement between police and club that security levels are suitable. For there to be no police inside the ground, Bury FC and whoever they use will have had to make assurances to the police that they could manage the crowd once inside the ground. That is why there were no police inside the ground. #cheapskates

Charged with what? No police officers present when it kicked off. They will taser a blind man though

Why does the report say the club wasn't represented if the "fact" was they'd had issues with the Millwall game? Where have these "facts" been reported? Is there a link please so we can get a balanced view on what the club thought about the policing that day. Thanks.

Two arrests were made. The report says so. What does that have to do with an incident with a blind man ?

That's why a link to a factual report of the incident has been requested. One which will further back up the club's stance. Also, if there's any specific facts which support the club not being represented as per the article, we could view them too so as to gain a greater appreciation of such actions. If the article is wrong and the club did represent themselves to prove the "fact" mentioned in this thread, is there further reading around what happened which led to the decision going against them?
