They will be fine with that one, their chairman has signed the contract like a 4 year old writing his/her name so will be able to plead voidance of contract as a party was not of sound mind or mentally competent.

Know nothing about this sort of thing but would that be the 'negative pledge' on the document linked above?

This is what you refer to I presume, but £10,000 is small change to Bury these days:

Moneything (Security Trustee) Ltd. is a Private Limited Company with no shares which was incorporated on 31 December 2015. Quote 'The Nature of the Business will be provided on the next Annual Return.' A bit strange that. If you start a business surely you will know what is to be the nature of the business. The two Directors guarantee the debts of the Company to the sum of £ 10-00 each. The two Directors are David Martin Monroe and Edward Marc Angus Pearce, the latter being resident in the Isle of Man. Interestingly neither of the two charge documents have been signed by the borrower i.e. Stuart Day. they simply have been witnessed by the Solicitor Giselle Alberici of Ratio Law, Manchester, who is also a Director of Bury Football Club Co. Ltd (The) but do not show her signature.

On 15-05-2014 and 09-06-2014 two loans were taken out by B.F.C. Co. Ltd (The) and charges raised with Cash4Assets Ltd. On 12-06-2014 Edward Marc Angus Pearce was appointed a Director of Cash4Assets Ltd.He resigned on 11-09-2014. On 21-04-2015 the Company received notice from Companies House that at the expiration of three months the Company would be struck off the Register and dissolved. The Company was finally dissolved on 04-08-2015. The two charges were satisfied in full by B.F.C. Co.Ltd. (The) on 18-01-2016. But by this time Cash4Assets Ltd no longer existed so to whom did the monies go?

Reading that article I had a vision of Stuart Day being chased along Gigg Lane by Matt Allwright and a BBC camera crew. Obviously it wouldn't take very long at all to catch up with the salad dodging charlatan.

Well theres one sensible bury fan, I'm not sure about his quotes that several fans are concerned. I really dont think they are?
bury fans are certainly a breed apart, heads in the sand with this finance fiasco and their skooligan element ( all of which couldnt knock the skin off a rice pudding) , just shows them up for a totally embarrasing organisation from top to bottom.

bury fans should put up and shut up as it's three and a half years they would never have had!!! "

Like that's ok then?? I am not sure he could have sounded any more arrogant!!

An article written on bury FC by someone called Conn?

Poll: What is it to be then?

0
tomorrow can't come quick enough on 14:02 - Oct 27 with 6739 viewsColDale

The article will do little to convince many of the Bury supporters. For too many, it's more important whether Flicker is 100% Shaker than whether the club has a future. It's a Baldrick mentality where they nod their heads and go along with the cunning plan. Questions are being asked but even Forever Bury seems to have been taken in.

If I was a Bury fan, I'd be demanding answers to the following

1) are the multiple loans genuine loans or are they a backdoor way of Day putting in his own money?

2) what have Bury done to ensure the HMRC treat them different to every other football club? (Or what other clubs have been treated the same way?)

There's probably many others but they need to stop being fobbed off and get genuine answers behind debts rising to eight figures.

Superb analogy by Barry P off beardyman board.

Where is the concern coming from? Erm well the fact that losses of that portion are not sustainable.

If we think of Bury FC as an ageing man with a drink problem, 15 years ago he collapses and nearly dies but some how pulls through. Several years later he has another collapse but pulls through, however doctors tell him to be more careful. He listens and spends the next few years treading the line, living healthily etc and though his health isn't great and life a tad dour after all the partying, he has no more brushes with death. Then another breakdown leads to another binge and this time death looks certain, however a last minute liver transplant saves his life and he survives pledging he will never put himself at risk again. Immediately after making this pledge he starts drinking again despite the advice off everyone to stop, eventually after three years he goes to see a specialist who examines him and notes his health is in the worst state it has ever been.

Doctor: 'Your health is terrible, probably the worst it has ever been, what are you playing at? If you don't do something soon you will die!'

Man: 'Well if it wasn't for the new liver I would have died three years ago so hey ho.'

There's a post on their board asking this:
"Perhaps you can give us a practical statement of what we can actually do? "

It's simple, fans/members should demand that Forever Bury ask questions similar to those you've said and that the answers are produced in public. Not by emails to members, not with any restrictions, all questions and answers are out there for people to read. If the club refuse to go down that route, then Forever Bury will have to ask whether they should be working with the club.

This has been said time and again in this thread, yet nothing seems to change.

Poll: Greatest Ever Dale Game

Forever Bury planned to hold a forum where fans are welcome to ask whatever questions they like, which they would take towards the board of Bury FC, no holds barred.

Unfortunately this meeting was cancelled 5 minutes before the start, with all fans told that any questions they had prepared have already been answered by Stuart Day and that the answers are satisfactory, even though they couldn't tell them what the questions or answers were.

Furthermore, they have agreed with David Flitcroft that one of their members will play in central midfield for the rest of the season, to assure fans that they are being represented throughout the club. This position is on the understanding that they will not be allowed to attend training, tactical sessions or pre-match prep talks by DF. Furthermore, no Bury player will be allowed to acknowledge that they are on the pitch and if somehow the ball does end up at the FB members feet, he is immediately to kick it away while keeping his/her eyes screwed tightly shut.

Day and Thomas know exactly how to play the majority of bury fans and are very good at it. They know that most of them think they belong in the championship and so simply promise them that it will happen in five years etc. And as for the garbage about the new stadium...

The "95%" of bury fans that support them deserve everything they get along with the brown nose that appears on here. Can't wait for them to go bust.

But it's fine, because losses this year will be "only" £2.5m!

The brass neck on Thomas is unbelievable. When this thing inevitably implodes, SD and GT will still be blaming the fact that they couldn't make any money from non-football facilities despite buying into the club with full knowledge of that in the first place. Don't spend money you haven't got, its not rocket surgery.

Do Forever bury really have a say since Neville Neville advised that they give their shares to Stewie when he first took over and thats what they did?

Hasn't Stewie also said that the loan didnt need to be paid back until May 17?

Six months to find £7.5 Million?

That was my immediate reaction too.

Accumulated losses stand at £8.4m, but to Thomas it's fine as the next set of accounts are expected to show losses of just £2.5m

You can't make this up!

So their accumulated losses next May will stand at £10.9m, and the following May should they get there will be up to at least £13m.

If I was them I'd be forming a fund raising group now (today) to raise money to buy the club when it inevitably goes tits up, or to form an AFCbury.

-£10.9m. Wow wow wow.

All borrowed using giggle as collateral.

But, hey, enjoy the ride!

What fooking ride?
