Nonsense! They have assets of £6 million pounds and are about to build a nice shiny new stadium? Happy days

Shouldn't someone contact Alan and ask him why, as a former ambassador for a charity, he's taking a role with an organisation which owes so many businesses and individuals so much money? Busy commercial team? I'll bet.

This is the guy who left after only a few months at the circus. A scathing tweet on departure ( since deleted ) aimed at the milky bar kid and his posse. Summat along the line of fickle fookers.

Ah, yes, I hadn't checked the dateline - and assumed the point about someone leaving was to do with him replacing them. I'd be a scammers dream! #totalmoron Edit: my point still stands though - wtf did he think he was doing joining them in the first place? [Post edited 7 Jun 2016 10:44]

Yes sorry, there's no story of him leaving - just the old one of him arriving. KeithClubline tweeted he just hoped he hadn't given up a good job to come there!

I think that some of the bury fans were expecting the council to build them a monorail to take them to Pilsworth.

Right next to the Police station - that should make it easier for the fraud squad! Don't suppose they will be too happy if their cars get a hail of batteries and golf balls either.

. .... and the fire station. Would be a nightmare on match days as there is only one road out of the area through the traffic lights at Harvard Way joining Peel Way and Bolton Street. Cannot imagine the scenario on a Day match day if there was an incident requiring police and fire brigade.

I work in the LGC building mentioned on that website on the business park, the landlord who owns the land (all of it) would not sell to us, the rent alone for our building is 200k a year, God knows what it would be for a football ground! To the naked eye in the state the empty land is in at the moment it looks nowhere near big enough for a football ground, however could be after a clean up, I'm not sure. Also traffic would be an absolute nightmare, huge changes would need to be made to the road layout as at the minute it's a nightmare when our place closes, never mind when 3000 people are trying to get away at the same time.
| Days like this one weren't supposed to happen to Rochdale. |

Perhaps as a potential boost to finances they could sell priority exit passes which enable you to leave without inconvenience. Or perhaps they could run park and ride shuttle buses to and from the parking space franchisees at Gigg Lane?

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 13:50 - Jun 9 with 6155 views | D_Alien | It appears Bury FC is being used as a front to try and generate income from outsourcing an HR facility to companies they've established a commercial relationship with. There's probably some tax angle in that, too. [Post edited 9 Jun 2016 13:57]

Did n't the good folks of Springfield build a monorail in "the Simpsons"?

You only need to look closer at the Directors to realise they are cut from the same cloth as Stewie. Possibly even business associates. Either no value in the Co's they are Directors of, or even worse large negative worth. As a side issue , when do I get royalties from the number of 'hits' on this thread ??
