tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2263285 viewsbatman

Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

Average age of their supporters is 65? Really?

Want to explain the figures there?

I'm guessing he means season tickets holders which is probably correct.

How many season ticket holders have you got aged OVER 65 to average it out with all those younger?

Do we have figures for Rochdale? Mist be a poor club that can't.

(I'm presuming we have....)

They've been asked today for how many they'd hope to sell in each age group.

Hope?

I hope we sell 20,000 season tickets to all the 15-25 year-olds in Rochdale. Pretty sure the expected sales are much lower though.

At £370 I imagine it will be.

Looking back maybe 65 is too high and it's just a number plucked from the air. I do think the average age of supporter attending GL is too high though to potentially getting higher crowds in the future.

Stewie was asked a question about wether year on year losses are sustainable. Waffled on about other things like how much that Sheff Utd and Coventry have, how Oxford and Plymouth have brought investment in, "business plan". Never even mentioned the word "losses". Prime B S.

That's Coventry who don't own there ground and get a cut in gate receipts at best. Fantastic club to model yourself on!

How can one question be followed by 10 minutes of talking with no answer?

The guy comes across as a bit thick to me.

Thought jimmy wagg did an ok job but he is hardly Paxman.

£5.5 million in debt ( projected ) by March 2017. How do you propose to pay this back mr Chur.

With no income ( of note ) for a while it will be a long summer for the shakers.

That was funny when Wagg reiterated to Stewie that there would be no match day income over the Summer! "you do know this dont you"?
Stewie "er yes........season tickets".

I don't really care tbh. It's not the same club I grew up with. you're in the best finicial position in years and you still rip your own fans off.

Disagreements yes over the season tickets but Rochdale is on a secure financial footing unlike yours.

Milky bar kid does my head in when he drones on!!

I have noticed though he only ever talks about revenue and seems to forget about associated costs.

Aparthotel will take £2 million a year... It might cost £5 million to build and another £2 million a year to run it!!

He cites burton banqueting suite as taking £2 000 000 a year in sales like that's free money. He doesn't seem to grasp any concept of costs - food / drink / heating / lighting / wages / vat.

If well run it might contribute £150 000 or so into a pot for burton to use but nothing like the numbers he quotes.

He really is an unsavoury douchebag.

Just what is going on down the road re SG Sports Management, the vehicle which Day and Thomas used to takeover Bury F.C.? Day resigned from the Board on 01-02-2016 leaving Thomas as the sole Director, the financial charge against Bury F.C. was fully discharged on 26-02-2016 which I assume that the loans from Day and Thomas are now fully paid up, and SG's accounts are being flagged up as overdue on 29-02-2016.

Any Bury fans reading this who like using the "what can we do about it?" line, have a look what Dale supporters and the Trust have done about season tickets.

For Forever Bury: read the last paragraph. Then read it again. Then read it one more time.

Sod it, I'll copy it here:
"We request that the club considers the contents of this letter and responds prior to the start of sales next Monday. For clarity we intend to publish this note and the response received to our supporters trust members in pursuit of our objectives."

See that? Time bound and a clear understanding that the response will be published.

And still no accounts.....

What's the penalty if bury complete the season without filing any accounts?

How hard can it be to count those debts?!

Into May now and no sign of accounts.

God knows what's going on down giggle lane.

Some charity rightly annoyed now as bury legends could not field 11 players so cancelled last minute.

I wonder how long it will take Day to pay back those pre bought tickets!!

Add it to the list!

Maybe they want to hold on as long as they can a 15 point deduction for financial irregularities would see them relegated to league 2!!!
