Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

I'd be really worried about the rumblings going on inside your own club than worrying about visiting fans seeing this thread.....
You can't knock us down anymore...we have nothing more to lose...been there ...done it,come to terms a long time ago....you however (possibly) have it all to come.
Just thought I'd point out the 300+ page reminder we have about what can happen if fans don't actively get involved, question and do their own due diligence when it comes to outsiders coming into the club.
And I'm not knocking anyone down. We are grateful for your concern. If you're really that worried about us I'll see you at Spotland when we're all allowed back you could even treat yourself to a season ticket.

They did have a training facility in Carrington already - have they now left there and took on the ex Man City facility?
Sale's old training ground has had the signs taken down,bURY,S old training ground now has a sign saying Sale Sharks Community Ground. The car park was full and the old one was empty. Sale's owner has very deep pockets ( Simon Orange, brother of TakeThat's Jason)

I've read today that there are two rival Phoenix groups. One is Bury FC run by Steve Dale who have applied to join the National League and who will play at Gigg Lane. The other is AFC Bury. You couldn't make it up.

If Dale were away at somewhere remote of the Gillingham or 0lymouth persuasion, and I fancied watching a game, i"d consider a trip to Rammy or Radcliffe to watch a genuine Phoenix AFC Bury.
Wouldn't touch Steve Dale, or anything to do with him, with a bargepole. He

How can both Bury FC and AFC claim to be the legitimate successors to the former League club?
Surely, only one of those will be recognised and admitted to the football pyramid, or are they both trying to enter as entirely separate entities?
Sadly, I'd guess the Steve Dale outfit has a better claim, but I gather that they won't be admitted if he remains in control. Still a bloody quagmire after all this time.

Their Wigan thread is also crammed with lovely irony.
They can't understand why a club with x attendances would spend y on something.
Hypocrisy.
People very quick to single out the EFL but fans need to be part of the equation. Had they expressed concern and acted decisively sooner, they may still have a league club today.

Was having a read of a few threads - that R11 fella seems to have seriously lost the plot - said he's walking away from bury, from football - I'm worried about the poor chap.
The rules are clear for the fans of bury 2020; any new club starts at the very bottom of the pyramid.
Steve Dale is making the argument for bury fc to start higher up and there is scope in the rules for that. That would give the bury fans something to chew over - that is their club but they despise Steve Dale who has been milking them for everything they have.
It's likely to be irrelevant for both parties. I don't think either will make the required standards in time for the new season which even with Covid-19 is going to be under 12 weeks away.
I do genuinely worry for the wellbeing of some of those posters on there debating about the future of a club that doesn't exist anymore.
It's only 40 days until the anniversary of bury's explusion - they've not achieved much in the year for me which shows how little most cared.

I believe he suffers from anxiety issues and this is something that never goes away. I feel sorry for the guy as he comes across as a decent bloke.
I don’t know him but he is one of the more active and generally sensible ones over there. I also think he donated a large amount to a good cause we had a bit back, like chalky, not all rats carry the plague!

Its a mess on beardy for sure.
Half the camp still think Dale will save them...
The other half are setting up a pub team and think they will storm the leagues with away masses "taking over" other grounds en route.
all a bit sad really.
its hard to believe its a year since bury FC kicked a football.
Talk about death by 10 000 cuts this could drag on a lot longer yet!
The arrogance and expectation of some regarding 'AFC Bury' is staggering. Not from those pulling the strings I might add, they are effectively saying "don't be a set of C U Next Tuesdays" if this does get off the ground.
I have to admit I have no clue what the grizzly's plan is for the old lady. I'm not sure he does anymore, but "do nothing" seems to be his modus operandi at present.

The ‘oooh, these little clubs we’re going to be up against will love the payday’ is typical of them. Even when they advertised for a manager they couldn’t resist saying how it was one of the best jobs offered in non league or words to that effect.
They’re just a continuation of the cheating, smug club they were before.
