Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

If you’re obsessed like me, have a listen at around 1 hour in for a belting load of bullshÂit from Gordon. If you listen carefully you can hear the beep of him backtracking as he claims the 5 year plan to get to the championship was never going to happen.
And who could forget the "revolution" that went with the WOW WOW WOW that Gordy creamed himself over. Don't recall anyone criticising the fantasy of the five year plan on the wrong side of Heywood back then. Revolution this, wow wow wow that. We mocked it for the sham it was then, and we got it right. Some couldn't see the wood for the trees.

So Nev was in the shit because a game got cancelled over Christmas and some top earners got injured and they could not afford to pay them!
WTF does it matter if they were injured or not!!!!
Nev Nev droning on Less would certainly have been more. BFC on life support at this stage Agent Stevie just milked all he could for a few years all for the price of a few milky bars.
What a shambles that club was for many many years.

Just out of interest will SD2 still be paying (or not paying as the case may be) rates etc on Gigg Lane? If that groundsman is still watering the pitch in this weather the bill must have to go somewhere?

Good thing the season wasn't declared null and void. They won't be able to embarrass themselves further by trying to get reinstated to league 1 for the next season.
'Only happy when you've got it often makes you miss the journey'
I, for one, think it's time now to give this a rest.
Bury have effectively gone in their original form and they are left now with a number of good people trying to form a new club to be run in the correct way.
Okay there were a number of Bury fans came on here lording it up when the spending spree started, but the vast majority of Bury fans are just like us and missing a football team to support. Think we can all empathise with that after the last 10 weeks.
With everything that's happened with football in this time, the bickering between chairman, the distinct possibility that other clubs may not survive, teams being relegated on PPG (which we would have been in the last two seasons), maybe its time to retire the thread and move on.

You won't be surprised if i say i disagree
Why? Because there's the issue of a phoenix club, which is of interest to Dale fans. A new thread could be started when (if) there are actions which give rise to that possibility, but in the meantime, the absence of such is still worthy of comment and reflects the continued lack of ability to literally club together in a common cause. Of course there are many good people involved; let's see them get their act together, to demonstrate that
I'd welcome it, at the appropriate level, but it doesn't require silence on our part to enable that to happen
Until legal matters are finally settled and all outcomes known, I think this is still a valid thread. There is still some mileage in it, though the finishing line may well be in view.

To be fair, though, the number of posts added to this thread is now very few.
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

The thread should stay because it serves as a reminder to all of us what can happen when you take people at face value. When life long servants of your Club ( Neville Neville) are taken on their word, when the fans representatives ( Forever Bury) are compromised and too close to those in the Boardroom ( Neville, Day etc), when the voice of the fan is shut down because it doesn’t fall into line with the Status quo...i’ll leave it at that!

Think this thread needs a bump for a visitor.
I'd be really worried about the rumblings going on inside your own club than worrying about visiting fans seeing this thread.....
You can't knock us down anymore...we have nothing more to lose...been there ...done it,come to terms a long time ago....you however (possibly) have it all to come.

Yep, bury fans lost their club, sitting back, accepting every implausible signing and "enjoying the ride". "Eating the Milky Bars" as some have said. Celebrating the not paid for promotion on Tranmere's pitch while your "bete noir" Steve Dale was the owner. Blackpool fans for example made a determined fight back with much personal sacrifice along the way. bury fans didn't. The Blackpool fans route will be our modus operandi if needs be. RAFC is solvent where bury wasn't for decades. Nowhere near the levels of worry bury fans should have had from the Hugh Eaves era and administration and beyond. And they did nowt apart from Fornever bury and we know how that ended up. Mugs.
bury fans wussed out and they know it, until it was too late and the odd woman chained herself to a drainpipe in a last desperate attempt at salvation. We've learnt so much from bury's mistakes, they won't be made at Rochdale.
Worry about your own minor league phoenix club. Your old club is dead. Ours isn't. We won't let our club die as feebly as bury fans did. All the best.

So, in the space of a few hours you’ve gone from being genuinely concerned about our supposed situation to reverting to type and being a typical bury bitter.
Have another go when you’re not thick enough to think you had control of your stadium and social club back like the time you bragged about it on here. I think the phrase for wannabe hoolies like yourself is “Jog on” isn’t it?
