tomorrow can't come quick enough on 15:01 - Mar 4 by aleanddale | Certainly the last two home wins. The way Clarke went down v colchester ( at 0-2 ) was a disgrace. Jumping to his feet waving imaginary cards at the ref. pathetic. So what sanctions are there for non filing? And what did our own accounts look like? |
We have a credit rating of 78/100 and nett worth of £478k They have a credit rating of 4/100 and nett worth of MINUS £2.1million according to Experian Business Doesn't tell the full story of either club, but it's a good enough guide for comparing

There was a time when people suggested Flitcroft was the driving force behind the Hillcroft managerial success, i might have been one of them but can't remember now, i don't think i was (cough). Anyway, there's no doubt in my mind we have the better manager. Hills cobbled together a squad of players on a peanuts budget, one which i think is a right smorgasbord of so called footballing talent, the good, bad and the ugly. He doesn't have a choice but he's still managed to sail the good ship Rochdale into calm waters by picking up players that other teams don't want and nurturing young talent. That's what real, talented football managers can do and i think they get their job satisfaction from it. Flitcrofts answer to the problem is to keep shipping in players on an almost weekly basis hoping he'll stumble onto the right formula, whilst crying poverty to those who are daft enough to believe him, fortunately for him he has a captive audience. I think Hillys as mad as a hatter at times ( not normal like me) but you can't argue with what he as managed to do at Rochdale. There's no contest when it comes to the better manager, Hill wins hands down. [Post edited 4 Mar 2016 19:10]

The Annual Return and Annual Accounts for BFC both 'overdue' on the Companies House website From the BFC forum "It's very interesting about the ACV; it would seem that the directors exploited a loop hole in the ACV law to enable the ownership of the entire car park to be transferred out of the football club president prior to the infamous 5 or 10 year leases to the investors. How many people realise that the car park has been leased for 24 years to one of Day's companies seemingly against the spirit of the ACV law." and prior to the Bradford game "Been told we haven't paid the security company for a while and they have decided enough is enough. It's a way of putting money in a football club (or any other business) and getting shares in return. If the business goes bust you lose all your money and thus the shares aren't worth the paper they are printed on !! The alternative is to lend money to a football club which (in theory) has to eventually be repaid

Where is all this going though? Its not like they are some sleeping giant who are going to start getting 10,000 crowds if they start doing well. Unless funds are limitless (which most are guessing they aren't) what's the plan? Yes we all dream of getting promotion - but Id want some answers if millions started being pumped into Dale from nowhere.

They have only issued £10,500 ish of shares. the rest of the 3 Million plus are historical shares held by the good people of Bury My guess for what its worth as i think the numbers from memory are similar. Is that they have swopped one of the Debts for Shares

Transfer embargo apparently! Although they are having one last harrah by bringing a Championship striker in! So are the PFA paying the players wages or have they called in the loan that remains as one of the 'charges' on the ground. Tick Tock #MayDayMayDay [Post edited 18 Mar 2016 11:09]
