Of course, it was always going to be this way, and better to have it on p.252 than p.1 of a new thread Can we now agree to have a threadlock holiday? Edit: i.e. no-one ever ask for a thread to be locked on here ever again [Post edited 30 Aug 2019 22:50]

We question more. We demand more. We see through things that are useless and call it out and effect change. Over the years there are so many examples - there was a great post the other day about when fans ensured Burnley didn’t get the Sandy in 1991. It perfectly summed up our outlook on things we don’t agree with as supporters. We don’t just talk, we do. Pies, fixture boards, credit card charges, kits with Wirral on, membership schemes, end of season dos, the list is endless. We insist that our recognised supporters group provide detailed information as often as possible. If this didn’t happen, as with Forever Bury, we wouldn’t forget about it because we signed a load of players and started winning, if anything something like that would raise more questions. If those questions aren’t answered, I honestly don’t think we’d go months on end waiting until more serious things appear before focusing on it again. That’s what happened at Bury, they’d kick off, then all carry on afterwards. See BL9 as a fantastic example. Not once was that situation resolved in the public domain by Forever Bury simply asking questions - if they did and didn’t get answers they didn’t come out and say that either. If they had done that on a consistent basis, effectively illustrating in public what a sham the Day regime was they’d have got the media attention we are seeing now and effected change. Day knew he could do what he wanted because there was no consistent approach from supporters and those that represent them, his actions were almost unseen. Exactly as he’d have wanted. We are fully aware that, as a fanbase, we irritate our football club and have for as long as I can remember. But they know (or should!) that we do it because it is OUR football club and we only want the best for it. If that’s irritating, so be it, but nobody can doubt that we are where we are today because of the shared commitment that’s ingrained amongst us all to do what is right for Rochdale AFC. As said previously, this week is a lesson we can all learn from.

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 23:05 - Aug 30 with 3079 views | Daley_Lama | ‘The EFL monies held over £600k should be paid to our football creditors reducing our CVA but who knows with the EFL’s agenda.’ I reckon i can answer that one for you Steve. The 600K is payment from sponsorship for participating in League 1 season 2019/2020. Bury neither have, are or will participate in League 1 this season. The 600K will therefore not go to Bury FC The creditors of Bury FC are creditors of Bury FC, not the EFL The EFL therefore do not owe any money direct to these creditors If the EFL chose this occasion to pay the debts of a club that is no longer in the EFL, then 71 other member clubs would have a very strong case for the EFL paying all of their debts. It is evident that if money did go to pay off the CVA then 64% of that money would go to your potential son in law so it is understandable why you would wish this so but i don’t think people will fall for this one.

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 19:53 - Aug 30 by VivaDonaldo | It really confuses me as to his endgame. Given what's happened you'd feel that standard liquidation ought to follow? Why is he fighting? And who is this NDA'd prospective new owner? |
SD2 is trying to deflect the angst and vitriol away from himself. If you can't beat them join them? He is deflecting it the wrong way though, he, and Forever "Bully" should leave the lass at the EFL alone, she is just doing her job relaying decisions of the EFL committee. They were quick to defend the jibes against drainpipe lady. Is the Accrington Chair part of that committee, his excellent truthful tweets indicate this? If only the bury fans running their show would read them and think. We know they are incapable of that though, a 250 page thread is proof of that. Would have petered out at around 20 pages if they could read.

Think back to the state of affairs at bury when fat lad weighed in with his bluff and bluster, preaching on high to the desperate and bullshit gullible. If we had a similar figure introduced to Rochdale we would undoubtedly investigate and publish, surely?
