Nile Ranger theory 10:22 - May 20 with 4051 viewssteve_g

Didn't Ollie want to buy Ranger for £1.8 million - wonder if he's coming back and wants him?

As daft as it was at the time he's still only 24 and with the right manager could still be a decent player in League One?

Can only think that the "company" hopes to get a transfer or loan fee out of it.

When was the last time he played for us, November? He's not been training, you really doubt he's kept himself fit, so even if he came back to the club today, can't see him being match fit until December.

He's had enough chances, so just let him go.

Karl would never just let him walk. He'd prefer to stop him playing for anyone else unless he can collect what he spent on him.

Just shows that there's zero value in these gambles.

We got Bogdanovic, Oyston got very rich

I agree. He is costing KoKo nothing in wages if he does not show and this is probably KoKo's way of getting back at him. I have no doubt that Ranger had had interest from clubs and was expecting to move to one of them as easy as that. KoKo will envisage some sort of a fee, but he stays away, then that is another year out of his playing career.

Didn't he end up paying fines every week he didn't attend training - he could be Britain's first player who makes more money for the club in wages than they spend!
