Not sure why so many see this as a poor signing. I think hes very good, pacey and strong. Always impressed when ive seen him. Difficult time at spurs though but many of our players have a hard time previous to joining after showing great promise. Gylfi, sinclair, jonjo, ki, fernandez and many more didnt really feature in their clubs plans. |  |

We are starting to become totenham haha. Can see him coming to us for about 3 million if it's true. He's fast and just because he didn't have a good time at totenham doesn't mean he won't do a good job for us. If you look at gylfi and emnes, they both didn't do that great for their previous teams but have been just what we needed so I'm all for this transfer..... If it's true. | | | |

Maybe they felt at the time that they didn't want to sell him but have changed their mind since then.
Also if that was true then wouldn't the Caroll deal also confirmed at the same time. We could've played a few games before we decided what more players we needed. [Post edited 1 Sep 2014 14:10]

Walker's not exactly a world beater.
Naughton really isn't as bad as you're saying. Can play both wings, quick, has a decent amount of experience at this level and is only 25. Could do well here given the opportunity. | | | |
