If this comes off it'll be bigger than any player we could've brought in.

Well, like Maclaren, he is the sort of man who might appeal to some of our "stars". The man was a football genius as a player and frankly set Chelsea on the way to where they are now. If he can give a few tips on how individual players react to certain circumstances in a formation that they are not used to playing then he could be worth a few extra points over the season. Nothing to lose except the owners money so hopefully it will happen.

He may also coach Barton on the art of actually getting a Hollywood pass to arrive at a player wearing one of our shirts.

he's only coming in as a part time coach, I don't really understand the problem.

Lol this message board is becoming more and more like an over 80s knitting circle..
Our tactics aren't good... it doesnt look like we are going to be any more expansive than last season going by the friendlies ive sen... cant rely on our defence in the prem...thats not a good plan... so what harm can it do?
Really? does anyone really give a flying what he does in his spare time, or what he believes. The man demands respect and knows more than a bit about football.
Whatever GH brings to the table, its gotta be an improvement on what bagpus is producing atm.
Maybe, just maybe he might be a success. Yeah i k now... not what many on here wanna hear, but it could hapopen.

Technology advances, unfortunately humans do not.

I'd be happy to see him turn up to replace the current mob of clueless numpties.

His first action would be to get SWP to do something useful, like FO.

Why does it feel like R'SWiPe is still on the books? Yer Couldn't Make It Up.Well Done Me!

I'm intrigued now................ have you been spending time at an over 80s knitting circle?

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’
