I can't see them having a chance of overturning the result when Sunderland got away with just a fine for fielding an ineligible player for 3 matches.
The Sunderland situation seemed to be more clear-cut cheating in my opinion. It's not like Moody broke into the CCS and stole the tactics board, someone at the club gave him the information he wanted (allegedly).
Thankfully it'll be the FA not the FAW making the final decision on this.

A fine is all that would happen; club stated they've not asked for points deduction, game to be replayed etc... no idea why the BBC are running with that one.
Fact is. Palarse got an advantage, we had to change team and tactics at virtually the last minute due to it.

That was from the text mistakenly sent to Freedman; it's also alleged that one of our members of staff, now fired, was approached by Moody, refused to give him the team. In a later convo between the two, it's claimed that Moody stated he'd "got the team from another source as he was under pressure from Pulis".
I don't think aybody seriously believes points would be docked, match replayed especially after the lack of meaningful action re: Tevez, but it seems at face value there's a case to answer. If proven, there's also a case that those in the media who pilloried Tan for firing Moody might be eating a portion of humble pie. | |

If it's proven the events presented happen, Moody and Pulis look pretty dodgy, especially with their enthusiastic denials. And if it's proven, given how tight Moody and Mackay were, could well have a knock on effect with Mackay's court case.
I'd have thought Palarse would have won the game. Pulis has done a decent job. Knowing the team and precise tactics would of course give an advantage, we'll never know how it could have affected the game. | |
