Hank Aaron was not only one of the greatest athletes of our time, but everyone who knew him thought him one of the greatest gentlemen.The expression that the fans loved him is too often used too lightly, but the fans everywhere did love him.

The only baseball player name I ever knew as a young kid in the early eighties was babe ruth, after swinging my cricket bat baseball style and catching a sweet one, I’d shout his name. I just googled him, and for the first time in my life I’ve discovered he is actually white. No idea how that happened. Just thought I’d share that.
