Poll: Greatest Ever Dale Game

Thes always a danger there can be an over-reaction, especially with so many of us not actually there, but there has to be an acceptance that mistakes may have been made tonight. Nothing wrong with getting things wrong as long as we learn from it.

Still time for it to be 2-2....

FT

Banana skin.

Deserved a draw.

A game on the edge all evening.

Late goal winner for them.

Lost 2-1

2-1 defeat, always going to be an incredibly tough game given the distance travelled and the players who were missing. No overreaction needed.

Losing is all part of the game. Well done Torquay, on to Saturday.

Possession with progression.

Dont seem to learn that it helps keeping 11 men on the pitch and the ability to continually gift opposition easy goals has been a problem all season, thats a shocker of a result.

No excuses. Very poor result but we were due one. Been incredibly lucky tonight with how the other games have gone. A win Saturday and we're back on track.

No, but it doesn't stop us feeling as though it is a good opportunity missed. I'd rather have the points in the bag than games in hand. Accy will be no easy game either. These bottom clubs always fight like tigers at this stage of the season.

At least we are 10 points ahead of 8th spot.

A bit harsh. Tonight is our first defeat this season against any of the current bottom seven.

The sooner Hill realises Donnelly would be better off playing on Littleborough fields on a Sunday morning the better!!

Tonight was never a must win game., and we were never going to go for the rest of the season undefeated. It will only derail us if we allow it to.

Dust ourselves down, and bring on Accy.

Match thread on 21:44 - Mar 11 with 1402 viewsboromat

We never seem to do well down there. Shame we couldn't have held on to the point. No change in league position though and on to Accy at home.

Another red card isn't good, it's a good job we have depth in the squad. Eastham to come in I should imagine. Hendo will be back and possibly Lund who was on the bench tonight.

Poll: What are we more excited for?

Well... you can. They weren't bad when they came to Spotland and we only just scraped past them then. Anybody can beat anybody in this league.

Possession with progression.

Er, yes you can, or else the team that starts bottom would stay there for 46 games.

Yep, but it's this STUPID red Card business that's bitterly disappointing!

Match thread on 21:46 - Mar 11 with 1347 viewsolympicdale

This was a result that was always on the cards, missing Hogan AND Hendo was always going to be tough. I wouldn't say there is a club in L2 that could cope too strongly without their two top scorers, still 3rd with a game in hand, 2 points off the top.

Life is a game of fate.

Were the only team in the top 12 not to pick up a point or more so not really a good set of results for us?
