The Cemetery is a little further from the ground than the other featured pubs, but it's character certainly makes it worth the walk, and it was recently voted as the second best pub in the whole of Rochdale.
The Cemetery, or simply The Cem as it is better known to locals, comes highly recommended by all the beard and woolly jumper Camra types. There are numerous real ales available on tap, and if you're into that sort of thing, you honestly can't go wrong with a visit to this place.
The Cem is also home to the legendary Green Room, which the football fans' version of the old Liverpool boot room, and legend has it that once a manager loses the support of the Green Room, then it's only a matter of time
On the more positive front, it was the Cem that was home to the now legendary promotion celebrations after the Northampton home match in 2009-10 which had police cars, Rory Bremner, junction abuse and a conga dancing Chairman amongst the various celebrations which went long into the night.
More often than not, you'll get drinks promotions being run throughout the season and you're usually alright for food too. Tuesday night games can see supporters taking advantage of the Cem Steak night, with a Steak meal and a pint of your choice all for a fiver. Or at least they do at time of writing.
