According to reports, Leeds have had a £250,000 bid for Walsall's Daniel Fox turned-down.
Reports in West Yorkshire today claim that Leeds have had a £250,000 bid for Walsall's left-back Daniel Fox rejected.
Fox impressed during last week's 1-1 draw at the Bescott and BBC Radio Leeds reckon that Dennis Wise was so impressed by the player, he offered hard-cash for him.
However Walsall reportedly snubbed the offer.
The 21-year-old Winsford born player was picked up by the Saddlers having been released by Everton without breaking into the first-team at Goodison.
Left-back has been a problem for Leeds this season. Having sold Eddie Lewis to Premiership whipping-boys Derby County, Dennis Wise recruited Wolves experienced campaigner Jamie Clapham - who has since returned to the West Midlands.
Whether Wise raids neighbouring Walsall for one of their starlets remains to be seen. Wise, who has apparently been given a budget to spend in January and has targeted "three or four" new faces is obviously keeping his cards close to his chest.
He did however confirm on BBC Radio Leeds that Finnish winger Sebastian Sousa and Bolton's Lubo Michalik are targets.
Andy Hughes is currently occupying the left-back slot, but the former Norwich man is seen as more of a midfielder. Young left-back Ben Parker, who has spent much of his Leeds career out on loan has obviously failed to impress Wise
