Dale Sign Valiant On Loan

Rochdale have replaced the recently recalled Cody Johnson with another young midfielder, Tommy McDermott.
The 18-year-old midfielder joins on loan until January from Port Vale.
McDermott has played for the first team on four occasions, twice in the league and twice in the EFL Trophy and went on loan to National League South side Salisbury City last season where he scored 4 goals in 8 games and seemed to impress.
This is hugely welcome news given that Stockport decided to recall Cody Johnson from his loan spell without him having kicked a ball in the opening defeat to Ebbsfleet.
Welcome aboard Tommy.
