Following rumours of his exit, it's now been confirmed that Dale midfielder James Ball has joined AFC Wimbledon.

Ball was the third part of the catastrophic Stockdale January transfer window which saw a lot of money paid in transfer fees for Luke Charman (now at AFC Fylde) and Tahvon Campbell (currently on loan at Wealdstone).
It's fair to say that the 27-year-old has struggled to win over supporters in his time here, especially last season, with his bizarre celebrations aimed at fans and you'll be hard pushed to find anyone, probably including Ball himself, who didn't want this deal to go through.
Ball leaves having played 47 games for Dale, scoring 7 goals.
