Dale Sign Afuye
A very busy summer of transfer activity continues as Dale make signing number 9 in the form of one of the trialists from recent weeks.
Dale have had three trialists so far with midfielders Jonathon Page and Lewis Spence making appearances early in pre-season and winger Michael Afuye playing Chorley and the behind-closed-doors victory over Tranmere and it’s Afuye who has impressed enough to earn a one-year deal.
Afuye joins Dale after leaving North-West Counties side Avro FC where he scored 13 goals last season in 43 appearances. He also scored Avro’s Goal of the Season as you can see in the below tweet.
He was highly thought of at Avro with the manager Alex Frost very complimentary when he signed for last season.
