Rochdale have made their second signing of the summer in the form of Kairo Mitchell from Notts County.
The 25-year-old striker joins on a two-year contract subject to a medical with the striker currently on international duty with the Grenadan National Team competing in Gold Cup qualifiers.
Mitchell spent the back end of last season on loan at Eastleigh where he scored 4 goals in 13 games. His goal record is something fans of his previous clubs have questioned but Jim McNulty is very pleased with the signing.
Mitchell came through the ranks at Leicester City but had spells at non-league clubs Nuneaton, Kings Lynn and Chesterfield before joining Notts County.
In all competitions, Mitchell has scored 19 goals in 109 games, of which he’s started 47.
