Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost is statistically the deadliest striker in Europe, his 16 goals were scored with a inversion rate to chances of 41% and this is better than any other striker in Europe, even Chelsea's Diego Costa is nowhere near that with 34.4% and Mess may have scored 43 goals but he needed nearly 4 times as many chances to notch that total.
With Wolfsburg having an abundance of attacking talent Dost was restricted to just 17 starts in the Bundesliga, but when he got a chance he invariably took it.
Now Saints and Newcastle are believed to be interested in signing Dost who by a strange co incidence is believe it or not Dutch and an International to boot.
