No Excuses To Not Watch The Manchester Clubs

Over the past couple of years I have heard plenty of excuses why St Mary's has not been sold out but there is none available for the upcoming games against the Manchester club's

Traditionally the game against Manchester Unexcited has been the hardest to get a ticket for and is usually the biggest crowd of the season, now they have been joined in popularity by their near neighbours City as an attraction.

Saints fans who want to see these games now have a great chance to do so as the eligibility to buy a ticket is merely to have bought a ticket for any Saints game since our return to the Premier League over 2 years ago.

Some will wonder why the United game won't go to a general sale as such, but there I a good reason for that, if it does then the home sections will see local United fans buy tickets and as we know from the past these supporters are rarely humble and content to sit and watch the game, they always seem to have to make a show of ring a United fan as if trying to justify why they have chosen to support a team that up until fairly recently would in something every season.

They would then wonder why they were being ejected from the stadium for standing up and cheering in a home section followed by the obligatory piece in the Echo with these poor fans complaining that after paying big money so that their 10 year old could achieve his lifelong ambition and watch United in action, they were ejected, always rudely and with undue force leaving the 10 year old in tears.

There is of course a simple solution, but the type of fans that follow United from afar rarely seem to use it, of course not all Manchester United fans are like this, they jut seem to have more than most and likewise they are far from the only culprits, stand up (literally) local Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and perhaps next season Barcelona fans.

For some reason it only seems to be fans of these clubs who have to tell the world of their presence and their ability to pay large sums of money they don't usually spend on travel an math tickets on official club merchandise, followers of other clubs who are unable to get a ticket in the away section seem to know the score, if you have a ticket in the home section you are fine as long as you don't cheer when your team scores etc.

For the upcoming games against United & City tickets are now available to literally every Saints fan in that you have only to be on the data base for the past two seasons and you can now easily buy one, some fans have often complained that they struggle to get tickets for big games, for these two they should have no excuses so lets see two sell out crowds for these games.

Many Saints fans are clamouring for the ground to be extended, if it is to happen then it is clear that there is a lot o work to do yet, we need every game to be sold out and for that to happen we perhaps need to see ticket prices more realistically price.d
