Saints Dominating The Nations Television Screens

After only being televised once in the opening three months of the season, Saints will be dominating the television screens during the five week period running up to the New Year.

In the opening 11 Premier league games of the season, Saints were only selected for live coverage once, that being the opening day fixture at Liverpool, however the nation being starved of watching one of the most exciting teams of the season so far is about to end when in the run up to the New Year Saints will be on TV 5 times out of 8 fixtures.

The coverage starts on Monday 24th November when we travel to Aston Villa and then we follow that up by meeting Manchester City at home on Sunday 30th November at 1.30pm.

Three days later we travel to Arsenal and again it will be shown live, this time on BT Sports with a 7.45pm kick off, we then play again to make it four out of four on the box when Manchester United arrive at St Mary's on Monday 8th December 8pm kick off.

The TV audience then gets a break with our games against Burnley (A) Everton (H) Crystal Palace (A) not being selected for coverage and then we finish off the year in style by meeting Chelsea on Sunday 28th December 2.05pm kick off.

During this five week eight game period, no less than five matches will have been shown to the nation, coverage of man Unitedesque proportions.

It can only be good for the profile of the club though and in many respects is recognition of the great start we have had for the season.
