It is expected that Scott Hogan's switch from Dale to Brentford will take place this week.
Various reports online have suggested that a fee has agreed between the two clubs with the fee differing between £750,000 and £1.2 million depending on what source you read. The fee will inevitably be "undisclosed" as they always are these days. There had been talk that Leeds were also interested but they were unwilling to meet the increased transfer fee.
It brings to a close a second spell for Hogan at Spotland. The 22 year old scored seventeen league goals in just 29 starts last season following a free transfer signing from Conference club Hyde.
Hogan has been left out of the squad for the last two friendly matches, with just a sub appearance at Fylde so far.
