Swindon Preview

Hey, Hey, Hey, It's Magic...........

Now let's be fair there was never going to be a match preview for a game in Swindon without a picture of the Magic Roundabout although I have to say that I prefer the version with Dougal and Zebedee rather than the one above which quite frankly I would imagine bombed in the cinema on it's release. I suppose the good thing is we can just park the caravans in the middle of it before the game as the ever growing Jack Army takes to the roads on New Years Eve.

Swindon will become a mini Wind Street tomorrow as the Jacks take to the roads early for New Years Eve. Buses, Cars, Bikes, Trains and Caravans all heading up the M4 in convoy something like the one in the picture below. Swindon may have won the League Cup but this is massive Swansea you know and there's loads of us so expect some noise.

Swindon will have in their ranks a spy from Swansea in Andy Gurney. Sent there after arguing with Andy Robinson, Kenny Jackett has allowed him to play in the game against us presumably because he thinks he is shit. Could be an interesting match up between him and Andy Robinson. No doubt tea and scones are on the menu there followed by a spot of knitting in front of the fire. Can't you just picture it.

So after mastering the magic roundabout, car parking at Swindon and Andy Gurney's ego we enter the ground in our thousands and watch a emphatic Swansea City victory. Easy. I had the mis fortune of watching Swindon a couple of weeks back and they were awful. Indeed most of their home crowd just sat there and laughed at how bad they were. Naturally that means they will beat us so I am taking the eggs ready in case my face is looking for them.

Team news wise. Same as Gillingham for us as we didn't play. Swindon's best player is on loan at Colchester. That was clever. Willy, Izzy and the others will be pleased to know that Big Ron Atkinson is around the County Ground at the moment you'll spot him tomorrow - he'll be the one wearing Swansea City jewellery. Bling.

The final game of 2005, a year that started with a defeat surely cannot end with a defeat and maybe it could end with the Swans back on top of League One come the New Year celebrations.

Bring It on.
