Barnet 2 - 1 Dale

Dagnall saw red last night as Dale lost 2-1 at Underhill. Late report now online.

Barnet: Harrison, Hughes, Breen, Yakubu, Lockwood, Adomah, Deverdics, Bolasie, O'Flynn and Furlong.

Substitutes: Kadoch, Gillet, Leary, Akurang and Birchall.

Rochdale: Fielding, Wiseman, Stanton, Ramsden, Kennedy, Adams, Toner, Keltie, Rundle, Le Fondre and McEvilly.

Substitutes: McArdle, Thompson, Buckley, Thorpe and Dagnall.

The first half at Underhill was quiet for the majority as both teams struggled to get the ball down and play in such awful conditions.

Dale had efforts through Le Fondre and Evil that never really troubled Harrison, whilst Fielding only had one save to make when he palmed out a strong drive from Barnet midfielder Nicky Deverdics.

Barnet took the lead with 5 minutes of the first half remaining when Irish striker John O'Flynn was picked out by the impressive Neal Bishop, with O'Flynn firing past Fielding to put the London side ahead.

Dale equalised seconds later though when Evil tapped the ball past Harrison to make the game level with half time approaching.

Barnet goalkeeper Lee Harrison was replaced by Ran Kadoch due to injury.

The second half was as even as the first with both sides having plenty of the ball but doing little with it.

But the sickener came when substitute Chris Dagnall was given a straight red for his late challenge on Neal Bishop.

Barnet were to take advantage of the deicision too when Yannick Bolasie beat his marker before hitting his shot underneath Fielding and into the Barnet net.

The other results in the league went Dale's way though as Dale remained third before their trip to Gigg Lane this Saturday.
