City Interest in Gary Madine
According to the Daily Mail, Norwich City join Sheffield United and Burnley in showing interest in Carlisle's 20 year old striker, Gary Madine.
Born in Gateshead, the lad might be tempted to stay further north, depending on the offers that Carlisle are said to be willing to listen to for the lad.
However, Grant Holt, a Carlisle native, might be able to sell Norwich City, if the story holds water.
It is certainly what City has needed for a while now, a target man, and at 6ft 5ins Madine is just two inches shorter than Peter Crouch.
