There is no grudging acceptance of Reform in Wales.
Reform are posh boy English nationalists who care little for Wales and know even less.
The only thing they ever promised has been a huge international failure.
Take back control of the borders he said in 2016 ?
Why would anyone trust him now ?
Wales has always had an inbuilt progressive majority, and that majority recognises the threat of Farage to our Senedd. |

Well said.
The BBC has done a job on the Brit Nats.
They just cant see the value in helping their own ancient language have a future after it was nearly beaten to death just a few generations ago.
We want good jobs and a healthy welsh language.
Its welsh as well as English, not instesd. Many countries thrive with 2 languages.
Its not unusual at all.
Now ….. what about that Farage bloke wanting to make the NHS insuranced based instead of free…? |

‘Wledig’ is a welsh word you divot…..
Wales at the time covered all of Lloegr as well.
Lloegr derives from purportedly poetic words meaning "lost land".
So a larger Wales certainly existed and the people certainly spoke a form of Welsh.
After the Angles and Saxons arrived the land area for Wales was the western part only.
Oh yes and the Jack Army at Brizzle gave you their answer this afternoon.

The old Wylfa nuclear power station, adjacent to the proposed site of the new reactor. It was closed in 2015. It started in 1971.
So clearly that was well established with the welsh language all around it .. for decades.
Its almost like it must be something in the new plans that caused the new problem.
Twitter is saying ….. ‘Wylfa Newydd wasn't cancelled because of the Welsh language, this is a completely political spin, Wylfa was dropped because of refusal from Westminster to give the funding. Horizon actually did its best to make language commitments such as requiring that 85% local Welsh staff …’.
What about the recent jobs lost in Port Talbot and Grangemouth, Scotland ?
All the fault of the welsh language, as well…?
Wales can have both good jobs and the welsh language.
Thats just normal the world over.

Never mention of illegal wars, covid corruption, or Brexit costs.
All enourmous costs.

You make a valid point.
You left the treatment of Wales by the forces of the English Crown off your list.
Your sense of history is an Anglicised view of history.

Discovered by Roberto whilst in our youth squad.
His game at the Liberty vs Reading made it clear this young man was going all the way.
And then that goal at Ninian Park.
If Joe was 3/4 fit he could do a job for us.

The privatisation has failed and its being handed back to welsh govt.
Health care should never be run for profit.

In November, BBC Wales revealed locum doctors were refusing to work at Welsh surgeries managed by the company because of claims they were owed around £250,000 in unpaid wages.
Doctors also warned of "dangerous" staffing levels and "potentially catastrophic" supply shortages at practices supported by the GP management company.
All of the claims were denied by eHarley Street, who have previously said they were "committed to addressing these challenges". |

I do agree it needs to be legal migration.
