It always sounds better to say that they are working with other agencies and councils. It sounds so in depth and professional. Problem is it’s of their own making. |

Whatever the cut off point the government must have enough data flying around to just pay to a large majority of of those entitled but not claiming. HMRC are quick enough to change a tax code when circumstances change. Why the need to complicate things by sending letters out, when they know that for whatever reasons these people can’t handle official documents. One of the last comments in that clip that people shouldn’t worry as if they are entitled they will get it back dated. Does she really think people will just heat their homes on the promise that IF they are entitled they will get the money after the time they need to pay their bills. |

Am I being too simplistic. Don't the Government already have the data. HMRC have the income on their database. Works and Pensions have the data of benefits, pension credit etc. Comparing the 2 should show who is entitled but not claiming. It could also show people on maybe less than what could be a new cut off figure of £15,000, so then not having to go to the local council for help with heating. The ones falling between the cracks could then be dealt on an individual basis than swamping a whole outdated system. |

I'd think most firms have some sort of contract clause about bringing the firm into disrepute |

I only see it as the club giving up on any hope of us returning to the Premier and then having a good chance of getting a European place. I don't agree with looking at a 1 in 4 chance of qualifying, through a lesser competition. |

I saw it straight after the game and said what was that all about. Seemed very abrupt in his answering and very negative. It did seem more than just about the game The one on the O.S. seems less negative without being overly positive. Chalk and cheese. |
| Forum Reply | Do you have to be from Swansea to support The Swans ? at 09:07 28 Sep 2024
Well said, I was just going to post something similar. Being ex Ystalyfera and both my sons not born in Swansea, are 100% Swans supporters as well as loving Swansea as a city. Yes supporting your home town club gives an extra edge, but the answer doesn’t fit all. Some Swansea born fans will enjoy football but not the full passion, all of us are different characters. Others not born travel many miles by choice, showing passion. We all support the club, this type of thread comes up every few years. Why? |

As far as managers go I wanted both to lose. Petulant and arrogant. There's a difference between a winning mindset and childish behaviour that most children grow out of. |

Here's the alternative if you get as far as Worcester. Go off the M5 and head to Stratford and then the A46 to Coventry. Takes longer as not the best roads. As you're reading this after the game, it's not much use unless of course we're both in the same league next season😁 |
