How are we here? Rock bottom what feels like yesterday and now lauded as the next best thing. We are confused utsiders more so. Not even in the top twenty best championship podcasts devoting time to us. Marti, flavour if the month. My question is where does this upturn in form come from? My answer is that it must be multi faceted. Marti is tremendous but the players must be driving this. A disapproving look from Dunne, Field fronting you up, Cook demanding more. I think we have a spine of sensible, committed professionals who are driving this team forward. I would add Fox and Frey to this list. I know this is conjecture but I think it is the collective spirit promoted by a number of key individuals that is improving results. Long may irl continue. |  | | |  |

It’s a very nice balance of experience, youth, talent and hard work currently. Long may that continue.
I remember thinking that Nardi and Cook alone must have prevented close to ten goals against earlier in the season and wondering WTF we’d do without Cook but everyone stepped up and we are stopping those chances dead in their tracks now, thanks to the midfield and organisation/formation ahead of the defence.
Adversity always brings out the best and worst in people - we have used that to form a decent team, with a very good team spirit currently. I would add that it’s also benefited Marti and probably Christian too based on recent comms changes. |  |
