The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2518714 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Thanks lads. Time flies in that studio. Glad you enjoyed the tunes.
Played across the House music board in those 7 hours.
All eyes on two weeks time. DJ Blocksta in the hot seat. Look forward to that one. We could possibly do 4 hours.

No mate didn't realise, I missed his Disco set upstairs as I was in full House mode downstairs. Wasn't expecting much venue wise but it was a lovely crowd and a great night 😀

i saw them on a boat party in Croatia a few weeks ago and it was great fun

Musclecars are a New York based duo, love their recently released debut album. This sounds great late at night, but the whole album is full of some great house vibes from jazzy to deep

another US based duo; father and daughter this time.

Floorplan go pretty hard on their live sets; this is a bit easier going but still a great tune.

Morning Frankiephiles.

So George (aka gingernutranger) sent me this yesterday. Great track.

However, I believe the bassline is sampled from this old classic. Thoughts?

I remember there was a programme on radio one years ago about life changing records.. they interviewed this bloke about this track. ..

he was in a coma following a bad car accident... he's mates were playing tapes to him while he was in that coma...

when he woke he said that he had to live, to stay alive because of this record . While he slept in an induced coma he said he had to wake up and survive for this track . the breakdown at 4mins 50n seconds gave him the will to live..

''i've got to stay alive" for this.

No bongos. No pinky and perky. No tucker and tate.

Same sample yes.
Not sure if Doug Lazy got it from anywhere else but I don't think so.
