Loftus Road under lights, a difficult game and a wonderful victory. What's not to like? This was an all round battling performance after Sanderson's dismissal and the team showed terrific commitment and energy. Throughout the second half we had attacks where your felt we could score so the winner wasn't a surprise, although there was pretty constant pressure from Blackpool.

I didn't see the red card incident clearly, but that won't stop me having an opinion. I thought Sanderson's initial challenge was a foul, although you could argue it was a shoulder charge (are they allowed these days?), the response from James was arguably a red card offence and then Dion definitely moved his head towards the Blackpool player, but I thought it fell short of a head butt. I am, of course, biased.

Everyone played their part in the second half and, in spite of complaints from around me, the substitutions were spot on. Special praise for Dom Ball, who looked nervy early on, but did superbly given he's hardly played and rarely at centre back. Also worth a shout: Odubajo defended well, his best performance for sometime (ever?), Dieng for a fabulous save, Albert for being calm and keeping going when he must have been knackered and a long tracking run back and excellent tackle near the end.

Hard to pick a MotM, but not for the first time recently, I'll go for Sam Field, but could equally be Jeff Hendrick.

And yes, I know, it's the KPF Stadium, but... when it's special I think of Loftus Road!
