Sahar signs on until January Thursday, 9th Aug 2007 14:36 Teenage striker Ben Sahar has signed on at QPR until the beginning of January today as his loan deal from Chelsea was officially confirmed by both clubs. Sahar and Michael Mancienne have been training with Rangers for several weeks now and featured in the pre-season games. However with Ranger not wanting to waste any of the time the players are on loan at the club for the deals were not offcially confirmed until today, just two days before the start of the season. Sahar, fresh from a two goal haul against Fulham on Friday night, is staying until January which is substantially longer than first reported, while Mancienne is, as expected, here for the full season. John Gregory told the club's official website: "We've been able to sign him until the January transfer window. It's rather longer than we first anticipated, but we're delighted that Chelsea have given us permission to keep him until then. Sahar has been refused permission by Chelsea to play against Leyton Orient in the League Cup on Tuesday night, presumably with one eye on the latter stages of a competition that Chelsea use to give their ringe players a run. Mancienne will of course be allowed to play. All pictures (c) Action Images Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
