Shabaz Baidoo has flattered to deceive in his time with QPR and spent time on loan at Gillingham this season.

DOB - 13/04/1986
Height - 5ft 8ins
Weight - 10st 7lbs
Contract - 2008

Baidoo made four starts and nine appearances off the bench last season, scoring two goals, one of which was a very 'handy' equaliser against Luton in the cup and a memorable last minute equaliser at the Loft end against Leeds. However he looks destined to be another product of the youth system who didn't live up to his early promise. Has spent time on loan at Gillingham this season to little effect.

Baidoo is a lightening fast forward and broke through into the first team in the 2005-06 season and bagged himself a couple of goals. He's terrorised a couple of a defences as well. His first goal for the club came in the 3-1 defeat at Plymouth last season and he followed that up with another strike in the 4-3 win at Crewe.

He bagged seventeen goals in Joe Gallen's youth side during the 2004/05 season and was rewarded with a place in the first team as the season drew to a close. Made a brief thirty second sub appearance at home to Gillingham before making a bigger impact against Leeds, setting Kevin Gallen up for the equaliser. Made a full debut away to Burnley but left the field on a stretcher after a crude challenge by John McGreal. Featured from the start in the 0-0 draw at Wigan before being replaced in the line up for the remaining games by Tony Thorpe and Jamie Cureton.
