27 - Sam Timoska Wednesday, 6th Jun 2007 16:08 Defensive utility man Sam Timoska has found his first team appearances limited this season by illness. DOB 12/02/1979 Finish defender Sam Timoska was John Gregory's first signing of the January transfer window in 2007 when he took him on a free transfer from Mypa 47. He joined on a free transfer from Finish outfit Mypa after training with Rangers for several months during the autumn. Prior to signing for Rangers he had an unsuccessful trial with Rangers' Championship rivals Colchester United. Can play at full back, centre half or in the midfield. His versatilty led to some impressive performances along the Rangers back line and he went on to make 14 appearances in the 2006-07 season. His chances have been limited during the 2007/08 season because of illness and his contract is unlikely to be renewed when it expires in the summer.
