hahaha funny how thing work out. Was over for the Baltimore Ravens game playing the Cowboys, reactivated my dating App (Bumble) just looking to hang out with someone cool and a tour guide effectively. Was upfront and honest, had 4 dates in 2 days, this girl seemed different and Boom. the whole thing is bonkers |

I don’t know. I’m going to speak to an immigration lawyer. I mean, it’s completely genuine and not a ruse. But need to get it right if that’s what we want to do. Other people seem to manage, so why not us? |

Her Children go to see their dad in Tennessee for nine days, so we had to fit it around that. Her return flight in economy from DFW was £2500. My return flight back with her on the 27th December is £1300. Previously I’ve paid anything from £700-£900. Crazy. |

Ha well I just assumed she was my girlfriend, but she needed clarification and wanted me to ask her. Apparently that’s what you do in the dating world now. So many guys won’t commit and don’t want titles apparently, so they try keep it casual. It’s all new to me so when I was over for Thanksgiving, I officially asked if she’d be my girlfriend so it’s ‘official’ ( I know I know). i’m 47 years old, it sounds like we’re teenagers ha ha ha. |

Update for those that care, ha ha. So my Texas girlfriend is officially my girlfriend. She’s coming to England on Friday for a week. It cost me an absolute fortune to fly her over, can’t believe how expensive flights get at Christmas. And I’m going back home with her for a further 5 nights on the 27th December. Things are moving fast, we’re gonna see how this trip goes and then I’m gonna decide if I apply for a Visa. Mark (Charm-r,) we need to have a FaceTime early Jan to catch up. |

These posts are very common when we are going through a bad patch, over the years I’ve seen several here! You’ll never let go of QPR ever!
I pick and choose games now, QPR isn’t my life like it used to be when I had season tickets. Nothing wrong with that.

I had a work Visa because at the time because I thought I failed an ESTA question. It said ‘ had you ever been arrested or charged?’ But wasn’t specific. I was arrested but not charged. Long story, ex who caused me a lot of problems so to be safe, I applied for a Visa and the embassy at Grosvenor Square. They said at the time I probably didn’t need the visa But it made it easier going on trips to the US as customs would never ask any questions. That expired so I use ESTA Now. The ESTA questions have now changed to ‘have you been convicted of certain crimes’. It was pretty vague 12 years ago. Thank you for your advice. Something to think about, just looking at all options.

Thanks, I had a 10yr work visa when I visited more frequently but it expired and I now use ESTA.

How easy is it to move to the US, get a visa etc ?
I met a girl in Fort Worth recently and I’ve been over twice to see her, just wondered what others have experienced etc?
I know Google is free but people here are always a fountain of knowledge and experience |

I like it there, the people weren't that friendly from memory and this was a common theme on trip adviser too.
What ruined it for me was we went all inclusive and it wasn't great. first and last Ai holiday.
I remember the island being small, we took a bus tour and saw it all in one day.
They still have a Popeye film set which is now an amusement park, they like to go on about it.

Hi, purchased a pompey ticket this morning, got the confirmation email, but there is no attachment to it. And when I go to click to add to my Apple wallet, there is no link. It’s just a graphic of the Apple wallet icon. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve emailed the box office, if I don’t hear shortly, I will give them a call.
