Not really, he did deserve to be dropped and if Lloyd was available probably would have. I'm happy he had a good game tonight and we won. Lets see how it plays out from here, if this is the beginning on playing well then I will be the first to admit I'm wrong. However I still don't think much of him, everyone has a good game. |

This is where Armstrong was really good. Beating the defenders to the ball, driving it down the pitch, and killing time. |

A different striker would be getting a lot more touches. Most strikers, even Lloyd, aggressively attach the crosses, etc. Not Celar, he seems to want to keep a comfy 1-2m cushion between him and the ball at all times |

Your premise is Celar offers something. Almost anything else could yield the same or better results. Play a midfielder up there, how about Smyth? At least he has pace and can aggressively chase balls down. That in itself would be an improvement |
