Thanks for all the memories Stan you were a true genius. We had some great players at QPR in the 70s and Stan I think they would all agree you were something very special. It didn't matter if we were playing at home or away you shone out and would end up being applauded by all that had the privilege to have witnessed a true genius at work. My condolences to all the family. R.I.P Stan |

I agree entirely apart from any criticism of the keeper he simply used his experience to slow things down to stop them making a very bad day getting worse with more of the ball they could have got 6 or 7 The most important issues need answers to are regarding the so called warm up unsupervised at half time and the non involvement between the manager and players on the 4 minutes injury time around 70 minutes GA made no attempt to gather the players together by the dug out that one really was disturbing and needs answers to |

I personally was unaware of the reason behind the applause at Stoke so thank you for the opportunity to show my respects towards Teddy and all of the family on Monday to hopefully give you all strength at such an unbearable time. R.I.P Teddy |

Thank God that clown could so easily have kept Rotherham up and had we not had miracle of Turf Moor Stroud could well have got us relegated Fcuking Disgrace |

I just can't understand why GA is so obviously insisting in starting Martin every game, I think he is an honest enough type but is really lacking in sharpness and physically making his presence felt in the penalty box. I would be interesting to see how many shots he had on target since he's joined us. Ok to use as a late substitute but that would appear to be about it, with 3 games left we need more movement going forward and inturn be a lot less predictable up front than we have been game after game.5 |

Agree 100% 75th minute sub at best no question he tries and much credit to him for his efforts. But if GA thinks he is in anyway the answer that by starting him in the final four games that is going to get us out of this mess we have managed to get ourselves in, then GA really needs after the Bristol City game to sadly take time to consider his position at QPR |
| Forum Thread | Alarm Bells Blackpool March 14th at 01:28 16 Apr 2023
I do understand GA has come in during a difficult time at our club with enthusiasm to improve our situation but On the 14th March making my way up to Blackpool one of my main concerns was one of our most influential players Sam Field was one yellow card away from a two game ban, now we all know how that game unfolded and that the game was lost at halftime, and at that point I assumed we wouldn't see Field for the second half as the two game ban for 10 yellow cards expired that game and he got to halftime without being booked and would have avoided any ban for getting to 10. Amazingly he did stay on to complete the match even though GA made three substitutions on 60 minutes and losing 5-1 still left him on, fortunately he avoided a booking but that was really a basic tactical decision that when a game is gone an aware coach makes. Much has gone on to question issues since Blackpool as to setting the side up as regard to the opposition we might be playing, many like for like substitutions made far to late to have any effect in yet another defeat. Yet today he rightly made three substitutions on the hour trying to give us more mobility up front and in doing so took off Chair although not having a great game he would have been able to with Lowe and Richards offer much more ability to create chances that had been so sadly missing, with some movement in our build up play. A truly mystifying substitution at that stage of the game. GA on Wednesday put a midfield out that will protect our defence for the early stages of the game and with the players available to you give us movement up front, for weeks now we have been so predictable for the opposition to set up against us. GA let's give Norwich a surprise in the way we approach Wednesday, a good start could be do a man to man marking job on Josh Sargent from the start, midfield working hard to ease the pressure on the defence, and movement up front. Along with that and and us supporters making plenty of noise there's a very good chance of beating Norwich, I still think with the correct preparation, we have the players available at our club to get us out of this mess we find ourselves in. |

Continuing to start with Martin is down to GA and go a long way to getting us relegated Martin tries but sadly only fit for the bench Things need changing by Friday time is running out |

Don't take this personally GA but for those of us that sat through that yesterday along with numerous issues of alarm that came from it one that spring's to mind being as you seem to be starting Martin on a regular basis and as much as he tries he really is only useable from the bench GA we need pace we need aggression we need the likes of Armstrong and we need it Friday |

Unfortunately GA appears to think that Martin deserves a starting place in the side on a seemingly regular basis and that tactical decision alone needs questions asked He gives it his best but sadly past his sell by date and in any situation a late substitute might be acceptable And for those of us that yesterday witnessed yet another shambles of a performance by all partaking in it questions really need to be put to GA regarding the above along with the lack of any |

As for Amos prior to any injuries he has picked up, since he joined us firstly on loan and then permanently his body language gives me the impression he doesn't enjoy playing football or maybe the pressure gets to him, I also believe he would very much benefit from having a long run of games but at present that is unlikely, I actually think he is a very good player who needs to accept the present situation get a smile on his face work hard and enjoy the opportunity when it does arise to cement a regular place in the team I also believe these above issues very much apply to Rob Dickie as well so come on lads time for both of you to enjoy your football and appreciate how fortunate you are to be at a great club like QPR |
