I'm just about confident that vastly-monied football ownerships never bother to look beyond their noses.
Because if they had any footballing nous they would (and should) go for Marti/Zavi in a heartbeat. IMHO.
Let's just keep it quiet and hope Danny Rohl and Mark Robins remain (wrongly imho) ahead in the pecking order. [Post edited 16 Dec 10:00]

Well Done Rangers - again. 1st half was just strange by both sides, 2nd a lot better. Oxford were weirdly awful.
Geographically speaking, we seem strong in the South this season don't we (Portsmouth excepted)? A shame that the Championship is (still) such a Northern league really... [Post edited 11 Dec 22:50]

Might have already been mentioned, but worth noting that Oxford have had 11 days with 'feet up' since they last played, while we toiled valiantly to victory on Saturday. Will they be nicely rested or over-rested and, by contrast, will we be fatigued or happily energised? On this, I suspect everything depends.

I'm torn really - would obvs be a real disappointment for everyone going. But am I alone in thinking that a late postponement could slightly help us with Frey, Colback and Chair so close to a return but not quite ready today?

Important games around us league-wise already postponed tomorrow. Cardiff, Plymouth. Portsmouth will be desperate to cling on (given recent circumstances) but will do well to IMHmeteorogicalO. |

Have to say Well Done Rangers for yesterday. To be slightly disappointed at drawing away at a (probable) top six team suggests to me that this team does actually belong in this division, not the one(s) below.
And on reflection, I don't see the Madsen, Morrison and Ashby chances as missed sitters. The real 'missed sitters' have been not beating Plymouth, Portsmouth or Hull at home.... |

I don't know how to react really. Just seems strange. I was just waiting for Cardiff to obviously equalise. Because of course.

Went last weekend and yes, if you read this thread first and assume it will be awful (I did) , you might be pleasantly surprised (I was).
Not a great film by any means IMHO but some great epic scenes in it with a lot of historical accuracy (they really did stage naval battle re-enactments in the Coliseum apparently - incredible) and excellent attention-to-detail. Worth a watch. |

If this is any way true, it would IMHO be a terrible, terrible mistake that this Great Club will never recover from.
Worse even then parting ways with Warbs in 2022 or selling Paul Goddard to West Ham in 1980.
If I were Nourry I'd go completely the other way and offer Marti/Zavi an improved 5-year contract right now. Stuff it. [Post edited 23 Nov 19:36]
