I think two promotions comfortably makes him your most successful manager. Especially in this day and age when Dale must have one of the lowest league budgets. I'm unsure if it mattered as much in the 60's... |

I agree with have essentially 3 squads. We are still paying bish and a few others from league one. We had KB famed squad, edge mcdermott etc and now we have flickers squad with players earning a fortune 3k a week plus. Not to mention paying off old staff kb, jeppo and some commercial staff. No way are we just 900k |

A guy with no affinity with the club comes in and offers us everything we ever dreamed of. I think apart from the raras we are all a bit worried. Although having seen the plans for the new main stand, it goes much further than a remortgage, ive convinced myself that there is real money somewhere.
With how marginalised our fans trust has become, all we can do is hope.
Anyway enjoy your promotion, hopefully you can stop your squad being picked apart like ours was for peanuts at the start of the season. |

More than anything it seemed like the culmination of going on about dale in every interview. The sky sports game was pretty nauseating.
Some context as to why i get a little miffed. Next season is my 10th watching bury an ive only ever known dale as our rivals even people my age remember some boLOLton games from being a kid, i dont. Dale is the game for me, although york is a tasty one.
