having received a mug with the current crest as a present for Christmas, changing it would put me in the awkward position of explaining this to my family and insisting on a new one! They already have the impression the Club I support is a shambles this may only endorse their view. Therefore stay with it i say. |

Why would anyone in Charlie's position not do exactly the same thing? As the time on his contract reduces his transfer value to QPR decreases which increases Charlie's potential wages and signing on incentives as the buying Club has to pay us less. How we have let his contract get down to 18 months which ultimately will be 12 months is a question for the Board. How did we get promoted last season? Was it Really Ooooooohhhhhh Bobby Zamora or was it Charlie's goals? Who got rewarded? Wouldn't the sensible thing in the Summer to have been to have Thanked Charlie for his contribution last season with a small pay rise and contract extension. He would potentially have accepted a lower wage and we maximise the transfer fee with the longer contract. He is always going to move on and we have had the opportunity to secure a decent size fee wherever he went. As if he hadn't scored goals in the Premiership he had proven himself in the Championship and would be sought after by one of the promotion candidates there and commanded a decent fee. This once again highlights the inexperience of our board unless of course they did offer him a new contract in the summer and he turned it down? Good luck to him I say his Agent probably cannot believe our naivety. |

It may have been my cynical mind working overtime but I swear that our "management" team had no idea who they were going to bring off for the 3rd substitution despite the fact Benayoun had been stripped and ready to go on for 35 minutes. Both Benayoun and the 4th official kept looking and shouting to our intrepid trio for a number to put on the board! Taking the positives at least they finally gave one that was actually out on the pitch. |

Totally agree I suspect Beard and Fernandes do not even know the rules in regard to how many loan players are allowed in a match day squad and if they do I think it might even make it worse! |
